I am currently a Ph.D. student with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
Experience
Most of my teaching experience has been in math and physics, and I would like to think I am an expert in both of those subjects. I find it very satisfying when my students understand a physics concept or learn how to solve a complicated math problem. I was a high school teacher for two years, and I taught university students for four years. I have also taught at several learning centers and have several years of private tutoring experience. My main areas of expertise as a private tutor include middle school math, high school math, quantitative reasoning, intermediate algebra, AP physics, mathematical foundations for computer science, multivariable calculus, and physics. I have also tutored students who are preparing for the SAT, the PSAT, and various other standardized tests and college entrance exams.
