I'm currently an Honors Mathematics Major at the University of Waterloo.
Experience
I want to be a tutor because it gives me a taste of work experience. I believe I am fit to tutor IB Mathematics and Computer Science primarily because I did well in these 2 subjects when I did them. Moreover, I am completing a Mathematics and Computer Science course at the moment in University as well so I am still in practice currently. Aside from this, I have also done a one-month internship, which was a learning process for me. It was in a motor business, so I learned their business cycle for one month, which was a very enjoyable experience. Furthermore, for my CS Internal Assessment, I created a funds management program in Java for my father's business. It allowed the user to input fund requests that would come from different divisions and could make payments in installments, or the complete thing at once if the user wished for it. It also produced reports of amounts pending and the amounts already paid to the divisions.
