My main goals as a tutor are to help students better understand difficult course material and help them feel more confident in their problem solving skills. My main area of expertise as a tutor is Civil Engineering, and I can tutor students in a number of related subjects. Some of the topics I can cover include basic civil engineering concepts, earth engineering, transport principles, structural analysis, civil systems and project management, transportation engineering applications, geotechnical engineering, pavement structural design, engineering for solid waste management, structural steel design, building science and technology, biomolecular engineering. containment transport, energy transfer in buildings, and air pollution. As you can see, I am very knowledgeable in a variety of subjects, and I am comfortable tutoring college students of any skill level by encouraging them to use their knowledge to improve their problem-solving skills in relation to civil engineering.
