Honours BSc. from the University of Waterloo in Honours Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Medical Physiology and an option in Aging Studies. Graduated with Dean's Honours List Distinction in June of 2020, with a cumulative average of 85%. Currently co-authoring a hypothesis paper on a possible metabolic cause of sudden onset abdominal pain linked to cases of acute onset diabetes. Also known as diabetic pseudoperitonitis. Received the University of Waterloo Merit Scholarship. Future MSc. (masters) student in biochemistry at the University of Waterloo, in the discipline of medicinal chemistry (as of 2021). Researching and determining the biological activity of a possible novel antibiotic candidate.
Experience
I have been tutoring students since 2015, and in that time have helped many people in the process. I have taken the MCAT examination and have received a 128 score on the 3 natural and social science sections, which I tutor. The reason why I enjoy tutoring is that it gives me the opportunity to help high school and university students in subjects I have taken and enjoyed in school. I always try to make an effort to accommodate for each student's specific/unique learning style.
