Third year undergraduate at Wilfrid Laurier University. Double majoring in Honors Communication and Honors English Studies. Overall GPA of 9.85 out of 12.
Experience
Although I have no official tutoring experience, I often help to edit my friends essays, and offer suggests concerning their overall structuring of ideas and arguments. I also have a younger sibling in grade 12 who I frequently help, specifically with grammar, citations, formatting and thesis writing. In my past 2010-2011 academic year my grades allowed me to be a student on the Deans List. I would really love the opportunity to become a tutor because I hope to pursue a masters degree in English Studies where I would become a Teacher`s Assistant, so tutoring would be excellent practice. Additionally, I have taken many English and Communications courses in my time at Wilfrid Laurier and currently help volunteer as a member of the English Curriculum Committee at the University.
