Education
I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo. I am currently studying to complete the actuarial set of exams, which has been taking up much of my free time lately.
Experience
I have five years of experience tutoring high school students in physics and chemistry as well as first-year university courses in chemistry, math, statistics, and physics. I also worked for a tutoring company in Waterloo for two years, and I have been a teaching assistant for undergraduate Nanotechnology Engineering courses. I had a Verbal score of 168 (98 percent) and a Quantitative score of 167 (95 percent) on the GRE. I have always enjoyed teaching and find great value in finding ways to relate my knowledge of a subject to a student's particular background and skill set. Some of the subjects I can cover as a tutor include statistics, physics, chemistry, pre-calculus, calculus, and probability.
