I hold a Ph.D. in physiology and biochemistry from the University of Waterloo. I earned my master's in physiology and nutrition at the University of Waterloo as well. I graduated with honors from the University of Guelph with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and a minor in history.

I have worked as a teaching assistant/instructor's assistant at the university level for over three years, and I have received positive feedback from my student teaching evaluations. I received the University of Waterloo Senate Graduate Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies. I believe that for a student to succeed, their individual learning styles must be catered to. I take an approach that makes the material relatable to the student's strengths (be it inside or outside the classroom) to achieve the best results.
