I have a Master's in Applied Science and Chemical Engineering with a focus in Process Design and Control from the University of Waterloo.
Experience
I've taught Physics, Chemistry, and Maths for grade 8 to grade 11 students. The reason I prefer tutoring students in science and math is that both of them necessitate definite answers that happen to be firmly based on logic. I go about helping students by taking complex subject matter and explaining it in a way that is easy for my students to process, internalize, and understand. My teaching methodology, which can be adapted based on the students' unique learning styles, promises to help students to do well on standardized exams and to develop critical thinking skills that they will be able to use inside and outside of the classroom. I can truly say that I'm interested not only in how they do on tests in the near term but also in how they fare in life over the long term.
