Education

I earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, where I achieve a 3.8 GPA in 2012 and a 3.9 GPA in 2013, placing me in the top seven percent of students each year. I then went on to earn a master's of science degree in Theoretical Physics at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. That is also where I currently work as a PhD researcher focused on Mathematical Physics and Differential Geometry.

Experience

I have been tutoring for a long time and I am happy to say that all my students were always satisfied with my teaching. I have taught students in the age range from 12 to 45 and all my students have always come back when they needed further teaching. I am very patient and respectful, but most importantly, I have always had superb results with my students. I always push my students to their maximum. As a tutor, I offer an effective approach based on insight and understanding of key concepts, structured classes + homework if I feel they are necessary and/or the student is interested, identification of a student's key weaknesses and efficiently working towards fixing them, and a strict but sympathetic approach. Over 5 years of experience in tutoring, I've led my own math/phys seminar for high school students, tutored preparatory courses for university, and performed 1 on 1 tutoring of tens of students. Tutoring was my main source of income as an undergrad. I'm experienced in teaching/TAing various mathematics and physics courses at the high school and university levels (both graduate and undergraduate). I'm also a strong test-taker, scoring 930 on the GRE Physics, 800 on SAT Math II, 800 on SAT Physics, and an ACT composite score of 32.

Hobbies

I am obviously a big enthusiast for math and physics (otherwise there is no way I would be doing it for living). I still find time to work out, play tennis or train thai-box almost every day. I grow chilli peppers, love my girlfriend and try to enjoy life as much as I can.
